Turnaround Expectations

Turnaround times vary based on my current quilting schedule and the needs of each quilt. An estimated completion timeframe will be provided when your quilt is accepted. Because I am currently in my soft-launch period, turnaround times may be longer than they will be once my regular quilting schedule is established. I would rather give your quilt the time and attention it deserves than rush the process. I will contact you when your quilt is complete and ready for pickup.

Preparation Instructions

Please make sure your quilt top and backing are clean, pressed, and ready for quilting. Backing and batting should extend at least 4" beyond the quilt top on all four sides. Please check your quilt for loose seams, open seams, pins, embellishments, or other areas that may cause problems during quilting. A stay stitch or "victory lap" around the outside edge is recommended, especially for quilts with seams along the outer edge. If your backing is pieced, horizontal seams are preferred when possible. Please do not baste the quilt layers together before drop-off. If you're unsure whether your quilt is ready, that's okay! Send me a message and I'll be happy to help.
